George Byron Reed Sr. was the son of John Wiley Reed ( 1829-1909 ) and 

Louvisa Clementine Hair Reed ( 1834 - 1908 )

George Byron, Sr. married Rowella Elizabeth Hydrick whereby the had 10 children. They were:

Elliott Morgan Robinson, Sr. 1856-1877 the first husband 
           of Rowella Elizabeth Hydrick 1858-1947

Their son was Elliott Morgan Robinson 1877-1947
 
      Elliott Robinson, Jr. 1877-1947
       married Minnie Durham 1870-1931

Elliott Morgan Robinson Sr. apparently died the same year he married Rowella and the same year his son, Elliott Morgan Robinson, Jr. was born. 

Rowella apparently lived with her son at her father’s home in 1880. Here she is shown with husband Edward Brodie Friday and her son Elliott Morgan Robinson- age 2. 1880 US census

She apparently was carrying Edward Friday, Jr. at this time. When Edward Brodie Friday died in 1880 it is unclear where the sons Elliott Morgan Robinson and Edward Bridie Friday, Jr. lived. When Rowella shows up in the next census (1900) she is married to George Byron Reed and neither EM Robinson or EB Friday are shown on the list. The missing 1890 US census would most likely clear this up or some oral history from family members would be very helpful.
