The Hydrick and Reed families are linked through the marriage of Rowe Ella Hydrick (19 September 1858) and George Byron Reed (8 July 1858 - 17 October 1929).
Rowe Ella Hydrick
was married twice before her marriage to George Byron Reed. She tragically lost
her first two husbands.
Her first husband
was Elliott Morgan Robinson (Unknown – 1877) who she married in
1876. He met with death after being thrown from a horse in 1877, little more
than a year after being married. They had one son, Elliott Morgan Robinson, Jr.
(11 October 1877 – 10 April 1847).
Her next marriage
was to Edward Friday (1854 – 1880). They had one son, Edward Brodie Friday, Sr.
(11 November 1880 – 26 December 1948).
Rowe Ella married
for the third time to George Byron Reed (8 July 1858 – 17 October 1929). They
went on to have nine children to join Rowe Ella’s other two sons in the family.
